Rooster for Woo (“the App”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights related to that information.
1. Information We Collect
We do not collect or store any personal information from users or WooCommerce stores. The only data we retain is a device-specific identifier associated with the app installation. This identifier is stored in Google’s Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) and is used solely to deliver push notifications to your device.
2. WooCommerce Credentials
Your WooCommerce API credentials are required to connect the app to your store. These credentials are:
- Stored only on your device using iOS’s
UserDefaults. - Never sent to any external server controlled by the app developer.
We do not have access to your API keys or store data.
3. Store Data
The App temporarily caches order, product, and customer information on your device for performance purposes. This data:
- Is not transmitted to any external server.
- Is automatically refreshed as needed by the app.
4. Notifications
Rooster for Woo uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send notifications related to store activity (e.g., new orders). Your device ID is used only for this purpose and is not linked to any personal information.
5. Third-Party Services
We use Firebase, a secure service provided by Google, for push notifications. Firebase may collect non-identifiable device and usage information in accordance with their own Privacy Policy.
6. Data Security
All sensitive data, including WooCommerce credentials and store data, remains on your device. We follow industry-standard practices to ensure your information is handled securely.
7. Children’s Privacy
Rooster for Woo is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from minors.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the app or on the App Store listing.
